Insurance & Payment Information

Do you accept insurance?

No, Sorelle Health operates on a direct-pay model and does not bill insurance.

This approach allows us to provide care without the limitations often required by insurance-based systems. Visits are structured to allow time for thoughtful discussion, individualized evaluation, and personalized care planning rather than focusing only on what insurance plans require.

Our goal is to ensure that treatment decisions are guided by your needs and your clinician's recommendations — not by coverage restrictions.

Can I still use my insurance benefits?

Although we do not submit claims directly to insurance companies, many patients are still able to use aspects of their insurance coverage.

You may:

  • Use HSA or FSA cards for visits, procedures, labs, and imaging
  • Request a superbill to submit to your commercial insurance plan for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
  • Use insurance coverage for prescriptions, imaging, and routine laboratory testing when available

Sorelle Health is a direct-pay practice and does not participate with commercial insurance plans. Upon request, we may provide a superbill that patients can submit to their commercial insurance carrier for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined solely by the patient's insurance plan and is not guaranteed. Coverage varies depending on your individual plan.

Important Information for Medicare Patients

Sorelle Health providers have opted out of Medicare.

Medicare patients choosing to receive applicable Medicare-covered services from our providers are required under Medicare's opt-out rules to enter into a Medicare Private Contract.

Original Medicare

Under Medicare's opt-out rules, Original Medicare generally will not reimburse either the patient or the provider for services provided under the Medicare Private Contract. Neither the patient nor Sorelle Health may submit these services to Medicare for reimbursement.

Accordingly, Sorelle Health does not provide a superbill for submission to Original Medicare for services provided under a Medicare Private Contract.

Medicare Advantage

Medicare Advantage plans generally may not pay for Medicare-covered basic services provided by a provider who has opted out of Medicare.

Some Medicare Advantage plans may provide coverage for certain services offered as supplemental benefits. Coverage and benefits vary by plan. Patients are responsible for understanding their individual plan benefits and should contact their Medicare Advantage plan directly with questions regarding coverage or reimbursement.

Why does Sorelle Health use a direct-pay model?

A direct-pay structure allows us to:

  • Offer longer appointments
  • Focus on prevention and long-term health planning
  • Support hormone transition care thoughtfully
  • Address multiple concerns during one visit when appropriate
  • Reduce administrative barriers to care
  • Maintain continuity across life stages

This model supports a more personalized and collaborative experience for patients.
